APPLICATION TO DATE ME

Who am I?

I’m a fun-loving girl who enjoys swimming, queso, movies, good conversation, and sneaking into hotel pools. I’m an author, and my first book* is out.  I’m not asking for any qualifications** that I’m not willing or able to supply myself. More than anything, I see this humorous experiment as a mini-adventure; I enjoy authentically putting myself out there and getting to know people. In a way, that’s what I think life’s all about.

Mission of this application:

I am trying to cut through the noise and offer intentional openness with this outside-the-dating-box application. I didn’t like the “game” so I made up my own.

**Qualifications—YOU:

  1. Spend a lot of time laughing (as I’m doing as I write this).

  2. See that there is a lot more going on around us than meets the eye and are open to the magic and goodness that our world has to offer.

  3. Take care of yourself physically: You are active, and want to live a long, healthy life.

  4. Have a faith, but not the kind that alienates or judges others.

  5. See God’s table as having “a lot more chairs than we give Him credit for” and admit that we do not dictate who sits with Him.

  6. Are comfortable with someone who feels emotions and expresses them openly.

  7. Take care of yourself emotionally: You are in touch with yourself (strengths and weaknesses). You have people you talk things out with and you are open to counseling.

  8. Might not love confrontation (who does!?), but you’re willing to bravely walk through the difficult times to relish and thrive in the good ones.

  9. Have a good relationship with your family; it might not be perfect, but you love and “show up” for each other.

  10. You are intelligent, curious, and playful. You like adventures and having fun.

Job Duties:

Show up ready to get to know each other.

Process:

If you dare, please fill this out, and let’s see where it goes…

Outcome

A sincere thank you, and I wish the absolute best on your dating journey
